At the heart of Purple Accounts is a very passionate family and team dedicated to our fellow business owners and customers in the Isle of Man. 

Purple Accounts was established from the spare room in the Isle of Man in 2007 by qualified Chartered Management Accountant David Parker and wife Helen, Chartered Marketer.

We were the first to bring online accountancy to our first branch of Purple Accounts in the Isle of Man in 2007.  We've grown from our first home operation to our Douglas office and now operating across the Isle of Man and UK - with expertise in both jurisdictions.

We're not just bean counters reporting on history - we're expert small business advisors and Xero Gold Champion Partners who want you to do better in business.

Sarah Spurdens Purple Accounts

Sarah Spurdens

Client Accountant

Originally from Suffolk, Sarah came to the island in 2001 and has continuously worked in the financial services sector since then - originally qualifying as a Chartered Secretary before moving into accounts.

Sarah enjoys gardening, music, cooking and anything creative including making silver jewellery.

 

She is also a member of the Isle of Man Civil Defence team and can usually be found being dragged around by her black labrador.

Sarah’s father and grandfather were newsagents, so customer service is in the blood and she is keen to help small businesses to be the best they can be.
 

Richard Quirk

Client Accountant

Born on the Isle of Man, then raised in Canada,  Richard moved back to the island in 1998.  He has extensive client-facing experience with small to large businesses from his roles in accountancy,  audit, land development and financial management.

Richard enjoys travelling with his family, photography and performing electronic music.
 

Rhoda Beuno

Team Leader

Rhoda has a Bachelor’s degree in both Accounting Technology and in Accountancy and leads our wonderful Philippines team. Rhoda established her accounting career servicing a small business in her hometown in the Philippines for almost four years. 


She has a passion for learning new things and using that knowledge to make an impact to other people’s lives, especially customers and business owners. Rhoda feels excited and satisfied whenever she has opportunity to help in the growth of a business.

David Parker Purple Accounts Isle of Man

David Parker

Managing Director and Business Growth Specialist

David has small business in his blood, having been raised in a corner shop in Warrington.  His first venture was selling plants from seed at 7 years old. 

 

Still a keen gardener at the weekend, he is passionate about helping other small businesses to grow and achieve their business and personal goals.

David has been a Chartered Management Accountant for over 30 years and specialist small business advisor since starting Purple Accounts in 2007. 

 

Driven to provide clients with an expert, trusted service as both accountant and fellow business owner - understanding the unique challenges and rewards this brings. 

Helen Parker
CMktr FCIM
Commercial Director

Helen is a Chartered Marketer and Fellow of the CIM. Her focus is on customer experience, having learned the art and culture of customer care with Japan Airlines and British Airways early in her career, before managing new product development projects for a UK airline.

Her passion for aviation is still going strong with a growing collection of aircraft models and memorabilia.

Helen focuses on the overall commercial health of Purple Accounts across marketing, sales and service, while helping clients identify where profit, customers and growth opportunities are being lost - then creating practical plans to improve performance and support sustainable growth.

Michelle

Michelle Nel

Client Accountant

Originally from Durban on the east coast of South Africa, Michelle is based in the Isle of Man. With a strong background gained from working with a variety of small businesses, she brings both vast experience and a vibrant personality to her role.

 

Michelle's enthusiasm for customer service is a great asset to the Purple Accounts team and clients alike -  whilst also enjoying immersing herself in new financial systems.

 

In her spare time Michelle loves to explore the beautiful island that she and her family now call home.

Ann Purple Accounts Isle of Man

Ann Reanal Dino
Accounts Assistant

Ann graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and started her career as an accounting clerk in Tax Compliance. Ann also  gained experience in the banking industry for almost 5 years.

 

Always looking for challenges and improvement, Ann is keen to gain more knowledge in accounting experiences and always be up to date on changes in the industry.


Ann wants to contribute knowledge learned in various fields, educational background and the best quality, security, efficiency and productivity to the future success of Purple Accounts.

Cess Velasco

Princess Velasco
Accounts Assistant

Princess holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Accounting Technology and Accountancy.  

She is known for her excellent attention to detail, strong willingness to learn and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Princess also committed to continuous growth, she embraces opportunities to develop professionally and integrate new knowledge into her work. Her goal is to succeed in a dynamic environment that fosters excellence, personal development and allows her to contribute meaningfully.

Rhoma Alviar

Rhoma Alviar holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) from the Philippines.


She is committed to continuous learning and actively pursues opportunities to expand her skills and strengthen her expertise.  This
dedication reflects her belief that consistent improvement enhances both her capabilities and the value she contributes.


With an analytical mindset and strong attention to detail,  Rhoma
